Dominican Republic Villa Photos

During my recent assignment to the Dominican Republic to photograph a tobacco & cigar factory, I was able to see a little of the island. Although it rained for 3 of the 4 days I was there, the last day I got to venture out to Cabarete Beach on the coast northeast of Santiago. There I got a few photos of one of the best spots in the world to go kiteboarding, an absolutely amazing sport.  On the drive there, we went through the mountains where I saw some of the Dominican’s most beautiful countryside .  Also I was able to photograph the …

Dominican Republic Tobacco

My latest assignment took me the the Dominican Republic. My assignment was to photograph the making of cigars for a tobacco manufacturing company who wanted to update their marketing images with new photography for a new website launch. I have to say that this was one of my most unique and interesting assignments. And it was a nice break from photographing white dresses. Although I love weddings, the textures and grittiness of the cigar factory was a photographer’s dream. Here are the highlights.                                   …

Key West Travel Photos

Here are some of the travel photos I got while in Key West, Florida on a destination wedding trip. We stayed at The Reach Resort, which was just a couple of blocks Duval Street. Some of my favorite places to eat (and drink, of course) were Banana Cafe (breakfast & coffee – awesome espresso!!), Martin’s Key West (Martini Bar & restaurant) and El Siboney (cuban restaurant). Like most beach towns, bicycles were everywhere. But the most unique thing I noticed in Key West were the roosters>

Key West Sunsets

Here are a few of the gorgeous sunsets I was able to capture while traveling to Key West, Florida for a destination wedding. I think I could have spent another week just photographing sunsets and nothing else. Enjoy!

A Day Trip around The Big Island of Hawaii

While photographing a wedding on the Big Island of Hawaii, I was told that you could drive around the entire island in a day, which included making stops to eat, shop and just hang out. So naturally as a photographer I said, ROAD TRIP!!!  We made stops at The Royal Kona Coffee Company (coffee heaven!!!), in Historic Downtown Hilo, where we ate lunch at Cafe’ Pesto (best local beer on the island!!!) , Hawaii Volcanoes National Park,  Hawaii Tropical Botanical Gardens and my favorite stop – Punalu’u Black Sand Beach.  Here is a photo journal of the trip. Enjoy! To view more travel …

Hawaiian Sunsets

Obviously, Hawaii is well known for their gorgeous, spectacular sunsets. While I was on the Big Island photographing a destination wedding for a wonderful couple, I had some time to devote to capturing some sunsets for myself. Enjoy!

Golfing in Hawaii

While I was photographing his wedding on the Big Island of Hawaii, Josh and his groomsmen took some time to get in 18 holes at one of Hawaii’s most beautiful golf courses and beach resorts – Waikoloa Beach Resort.  “The course was challenging, but a lot of fun, he said.
